Shaft replacement on the west raw mill transmission line

Replacing the shaft of the west raw mill transmission line required precise preparation, geodetic measurements and coordination of all stages of dismantling and installation.

The existing shaft with its ring and the sliding and fixed bearings with their shells were dismantled. This was followed by positioning and centring the new shaft with its ring and installing the bearings. Particular attention was paid to achieving the prescribed crown clearance and the other specified dimensions.
